Duart Appeal U.S.A.

Supporting the Duart Castle Restoration Fund

The need to support the Duart Castle Restoration fund gained international attention in a recent New York Times article that can be found at http://web.duartappeal.org/cn/ahwjd/NYTIMES-isle-of-mull.

Sir Lachlan Maclean, the 28th Chief of the Clan Maclean, has made an international appeal to Macleans and those interested in the preservation of history to help in repairing Duart Castle to preserve its 600 years of history for generations to come. The Duart Appeal is a non-profit campaign to raise matching funds to, in cooperation with the Historic Scotland Foundation, preserve Duart Castle, the 13th century home of the Clan Maclean on the Isle of Mull. For more information, please visit our website at www.DuartAppeal.org.

Duart Appeal USA has been established so that donors in the United States may contribute to the effort. All U.S. tax-deductible donations on this site are contributed through the Clan Maclean Association of California, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation supporting Scottish Cultural outreach.
